Greetings! :ahoy:

Soooo, interesting. This is what Easter break is like. Not really break-like. Working on a grad film, watching movies & writing stuff for a script analysis workshop, helping a friend move, making showreels for Reuters in two weeks.

And yet, the call of Cthulhu blender is reaching me, even in my dreams. :fear: Creepy? I know, right! :XD:
I've decided to present myself with a challenge each time I open blender to render my scenes.
The challenge being: creating particular atmospheres.

Now, those of you who use rendering programs - you know how hard it is to set up a particular lighting configuration to make the lights look more or less natural. It's just like on a film set: imagine your mood, choose your colour temperature, set up a key light, fill in the shadows and try to keep it consistent. Now even though the light kits in real life are far from as big as the lighting choices in renderers, I'm finding it far easier to create a sunset light for the screen than, e.g. in blender.

Hence the challenge.

Starting with a storm. --> - Let's see if I can pull something like this off in a 3D renderer.
BTW, Thank you, NevanAnxa, for subconsciously kicking my ass into opening blender - this scene is featuring Anders with a more posing-friendly armature (similar to my more complex Ezio skeletons.)

Oh, and yes: London is cold. I miss Summer. :(

So much for now! :aww:

Chris :blowkiss:

Well aren't you having the "best" Easter ever, lol! I'd like to learn those programs you speak of to render things, figure if i'd like to get at game design then best i get the practice using those!
