The Rain Effect

Before you start pointing out discrepancies between Lara's past as you know it from the next gen games and my version:

<sub>I am a Tomb Raider fan of the first hour and the change of Lara's background story, like it was administered by whomever in TR Legend, came to me as a preposterous insult. Lara had become a legend long before she was sold to Crystal Dynamics/Square Enix and changing basic facts about her and thus rendering void something that defined the gaming world of the 90ies was just as ridiculous as someone suddenly deciding to re-write the constitution of some country.



However, I came to terms with that and am willing to accept the Ghalali key as a gift from Lara's father to his wife.</sub>

- David is of course, David Trapp. Those of you who read S.D. Perry's RE books will know exactly who he is.

- Ailein Duinn is a traditional Scottish lament that is featured in the main theme of Tomb Raider Legend, along with chorals of Ave Maria. I used the first and the last stanza of it here... but only to save frames. Just imagine Lara singing the whole thing. And here are two really beautiful versions of this lament:

- and yes, Chris does look absolutely Irish-American to me! Don't you agree?
